Boilerplate

The PATCH Act (Politician Accountability and Transparency in Campaign Holdings Act) is a citizen-originated proposal requiring elected officials to display visible sponsor patches during official public appearances, sized proportionally to their qualifying contributions. It covers every elected office from Congress to the county courthouse. Any registered voter can file a complaint. Complaints route automatically to the applicable ethics oversight body, local press, and activist organizations in the district. A corporate certification program recognizes companies with zero political donations. The project is independent and has no political affiliation. Press contact: press@thepatchact.com.
