The Politician Accountability and Transparency in Campaign Holdings Act
A transparency requirement. Nothing more.
Sponsor patches on athletic uniforms exist because we decided disclosure and competition are compatible. A NASCAR driver competes in a suit covered in sponsor logos. No one argues it compromises the racing. We made that decision as a culture - that sponsor transparency and professional performance are not in conflict.
We have not made that decision about legislation. A senator can receive millions from a pharmaceutical company, vote on drug pricing, and appear at a press conference with no visible indication of that relationship. The money is disclosed eventually, in filings most voters never read. The PATCH Act makes the disclosure visible at the moment it matters.
The analogy is not a metaphor. It is an observation. We already decided that sponsors belong on uniforms. The PATCH Act applies that logic to the people who write the laws.

PACs, corporations, dark money 501(c)(4)s, bundled donations, spousal and family-routed contributions, and trade association memberships above threshold.
Five tiers scaling from voter complaint routing to formal OCC referral, FEC investigation trigger, and automatic press notification for repeat violations.
Organizations across the political spectrum are invited to register as complaint-routing partners. When a voter files a complaint in your district, it routes to your organization as well as to the OCC and FEC. No cost. No affiliation implied beyond shared interest in disclosure.
